Chair, My-Ngoc Nguyen

My-Ngoc Nguyen (pronounced Menop Wynn) brings 15 years of experience in Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) and Cyber Security. She has developed and managed programs for both the federal government and private sector. My-Ngoc is experienced in IT security and risk methodologies, and legal and compliance programs. Along with a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, she carries top security certifications to include; CISSP, GPEN, GCIH and is a former QSA. Additionally, she is a community instructor and advisory board member for the SANS institute, an organization that conducts Cyber Security research and training. She is an active member of the FBI’s InfraGard, the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, (ISC)² and is the State of Nevada’s awareness lead for the Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security (CIAS) program.

Vice-Chair, Chris Wilding

Chris has a strong pedigree of leadership experience with large IT operations and is a renowned thought leader in the area of business and technology. He’s the co-owner and president of Secured IT Solutions, where he serves his clients as a management and technology consultant.  He previously held the Chief Information Officer (CIO) position at the City of Henderson, NV, where he was responsible for effective delivery of information technology services to the City’s departments. Prior to that, Chris held CIO positions with Bechtel on U.S. Department of Energy nuclear programs in the USA and internationally on large-scale international projects, within the oil & gas, civil, power and transportation sectors.

Secretary, Conrad Larkin

Conrad Larkin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Management Information Systems from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has spent his career in the public sector, first in the federal ranks and then at the local level. He started his career in 1991 as a PC technician and moved up to Novell server administration, obtaining several certifications in the process. After moving to the City of North Las Vegas as a Novell server adminstrator, he was asked to fill the security role at the City. He currently is the Information Security Administrator for the City. He currently holds the GSEC security certification.

Treasurer, George Molnar

An Emmy-winnng broadcaster and member of Nevada’s Broadcast Hall of Fame, Molnar was among the first to use digital video, disk-based workflows, and advanced graphics systems as Senior Remote Engineer for ESPN. As Chief Engineer for network television stations in Chicago, he led storage, asset management, and transmission upgrades that helped launch digital television to millions of viewers.

Molnar succumbed to the siren song of Las Vegas and joined Vegas PBS (KLVX Channel 10), in 2008. His work includes developing an emergency response data broadcast system supporting school police and other first responders to the Clark County School District’s schools, staff and students. Molnar also led the design and installation of the station’s state-of-the-art, server-based, multi-channel digital multicast facilities and oversaw construction of a new LEED Gold-certified energy-efficient campus.

For three years, George left Vegas PBS to work as the Nevada Statewide Interoperability Coordinator, in the Division of Emergency Management. He led the development of a new State Communications Interoperability Plan, and evangelized for broader and more cooperative strategies for communications, including leading efforts towards deployment of the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network.

Molnar holds a Master’s degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester. He lives with his wife, teenage daughter, and two dogs in Henderson.

Ms. Zakowska graduated from two prestigious programs for senior executives in Global Energy and Strategic Financial Analysis for Business Evaluation from Harvard University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Finance and MBA in Finance & Strategy from Pepperdine University (cum laude), and an LL.M. (Master of Law) in International, Tax and Capital Market Law from The School of Law and Administration Warsaw University (magna cum laude).

Anna is the author of the upcoming book #Nofilter. She is a regularly requested guest and speaker on business growth and leadership subject for business and academic groups.

Ms. Zakowska serves on following Boards: Caribbean Management Services (reinsurance firm), United Citizen Foundation (non-profit providing healthcare for struggling families), CyberSafeNV (non-profit addressing cyber-security awareness). She is an upcoming member of Board for Goodwill of Southern Nevada (sustainable social enterprise providing education, employment and training for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment). Anna is a long-term member of the Development Committee of Board of Directors for Big Brother Big Sister of Southern Nevada (non-profit supporting donors and volunteers in mentoring network for children).

Ms. Zakowska’s passions away from work include traveling, reading, and training for triathlons. She also enjoys fine arts, ballet, opera and classical music.
